Art in the Park is an annual community event celebrating creativity, art, and family fun. Hosted by the Palmetto Optimist Club, the event features local artists, craftspeople, live performances, and interactive activities for all ages. A highlight of the day is Reading in the Park, where children can enjoy story time sessions with local authors and volunteers in a cozy, family-friendly setting. Join us on March 28, 2026, for a vibrant day of inspiration, connection, and imagination!

Art Demonstration Sign-Up – Art in the Park

Calling all local artists and makers! 🎨✨

Art in the Park is inviting artists to share their creative process with the community by hosting live art and craft demonstrations during the event. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your skills, connect with attendees, and inspire creativity of all ages.

A tent and table will be provided for each demonstrator. All other materials, tools, and supplies needed for your demonstration must be supplied by the artist.

When signing up, please select up to three (3) preferred time slots. Demonstration spaces and times will be scheduled in advance, and you will be contacted with your assigned time and location during the week prior to the event.
